A short list, not a tracker.
Kurukoo uses essential storage to keep you signed in, remember your choices and hold unsent messages. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.
The keys, in plain words.
Most of what Kurukoo stores on your device is local storage or session storage, not a traditional cookie. The effect is the same: a small note in your browser that lets the app work. The table below lists the keys a signed-in person may see.
- kurukoo-phone — the phone number on the signed-in account, so the app can restore your session.
- kurukoo-outbox — messages you sent while offline, waiting to be delivered.
- kurukoo-seed — the words from a marketing card or service page, carried into the chat as your first message.
- kurukoo-prefill — a role or service name pre-filled into a form.
- kurukoo-shell-guest — keeps the trial chat separate from your real account until you sign in.
- kurukoo-acting-persona — the persona you are acting as, when you use that feature.
- kurukoo_cookie_consent — your cookie choice, so the banner does not ask again.
- kurukoo-admin-token — an operator token, only on the admin console and only after an operator signs in.
- kurukoo-call:<room> — a short-lived call nonce, held in session storage and gone when the tab closes.
No advertising, no profiling.
Kurukoo does not load advertising networks, cross-site trackers or analytics scripts. We do not sell your behaviour. When you open a payment checkout, the payment provider may set its own cookies under its own policy; we do not control those.
Essential, or all.
The banner offers two choices: essential only, or accept all. Today the app only uses essential and preference storage, so the two choices store the same working set. The choice is recorded so we can keep the banner out of your way and so a future non-essential feature cannot switch on without a fresh choice.
You can clear the keys at any time in your browser settings. Clearing them signs you out and removes unsent messages. It does not delete your account or your requests on the server.
