Fair work, fair pay.
Providers keep their quote. A monthly plan provides business tools and a qualified lead-opportunity allowance; there is no flat fee just to reply. A disclosed category commission applies only to eligible paid transactions collected and completed through Kurukoo.
You can do the work, legally.
- You are 18 or older and have the right to work in the area you serve.
- The trade, area and phone number on your account are yours and accurate.
- You hold any licence or permit the work requires.
- You pass the phone, trade and area checks. The paid badge adds ID and address checks.
Accept only what you can do.
A job reaches you with its price and area. Accept, quote or decline. If you accept, show up or tell the customer before they wait. Quote the real price, including materials, before the work starts. Do not change the price after the work without agreement.
Keep the conversation and evidence on Kurukoo, and follow the exact payment route shown in the offer. Do not ask for a customer's phone number, address or payment details outside the platform. Do not subcontract a job without telling the customer and getting approval.
Your quote is yours.
You choose a prepaid 30-day provider plan with its published business-tool and qualified-lead-opportunity entitlements. Plans do not auto-renew; renewal requires a new successful checkout. There is no flat fee just to reply. When a paid transaction is completed through Kurukoo, the disclosed category commission is deducted from the eligible transaction amount; taxes, tips and pass-through costs are excluded.
Payouts go through the methods shown in the app — Opay, Moniepoint, Paystack or bank transfer — with a reference number each time. You are responsible for your own taxes, licences and insurance. Kurukoo does not withhold tax on your behalf.
- Plans: Base ₦500 per 30 days includes 20 qualified lead opportunities; Plus ₦1,500 includes 100; Business ₦5,000 includes 500.
- Provider commission rates are shown by category before the provider accepts a transaction. Rates are charged only on successful eligible paid fulfilment; cancelled, unpaid or refunded transactions do not earn commission.
- A payout reference is written for every payment; keep it for your records.
Respect the home and the person.
- No harassment, discrimination, threats or unwanted contact.
- No photos or videos of a customer's home or belongings without permission.
- No work while intoxicated, and no unsafe work.
- No asking for a PIN, OTP, bank password or full card number.
- No altered or undisclosed payment route, extra release fee or payment to bypass the offer.
- Report an unsafe job or a customer problem before you act.
Cooperate with the evidence.
If a customer disputes a job, provide the quote, messages and completion proof. Where verified escrow applies, the applicable ledger status is frozen during review; for direct-pay jobs, funds remain with the provider. A dispute up to ₦20,000 may go to the Community Witness lane; above that, or where it is complex, an admin reviews it. Repeated no-shows or false proof can end your access.
Either side can stop.
You can stop taking jobs at any time. We can suspend or end your access for a breach, fraud, unsafe conduct or repeated cancellations. Eligible completed earnings are reconciled through the configured payout route; timing and manual review depend on that route. Jobs in progress are handled under the applicable payment and dispute policy.
